Chelsa is the Business Development Manager/Strategic Solutions Consultant for The Event Lounge. Chelsa brings 7 years of sales in the event industry to her role as a Business Development Manager. Her primary focus is to build awareness about The Event Lounge’s unique capabilities among prospective clients, and develop and maintain relationships with current and past clients.
Prior to joining The Event Lounge, Chelsa spent seven years in the hospitality industry working for a Houston resort where she held her role as a Catering Manager. In that capacity, she focused on the social market, producing galas, day meetings, weddings, holiday parties and ethnic events. Chelsa worked closely with the Executive Chef keeping up on food and beverage trends as well as honed her ability to source leads and close sales with the client’s best interests in mind. Because of Chelsa’s extensive hotel background, she is also a shrewd advisor for hotel sourcing and hotel contract negotiations.
In addition to her love for reading good books and her passion for a great martini, Chelsa enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family.

Most Memorable Event Moment: I loved hosting an event for women with breast cancer. Meeting and hearing the stories of these courageous women will stay with me forever! I was so happy to be able to provide them a relaxing atmosphere and for one day take their mind off of their illness and replace it with laughs, spa time and camaraderie.
